We just arrived in SC yesterday, to spend a few days of our Spring Break with Luke’s family. We decided that since it was such a beautiful day today, we would all (Luke’s parents, Allison, JD, Luke, Anna Kate, and myself) take the short trip to Columbia to take Anna Kate to the zoo! While she probably won’t remember much about this first zoo trip, she definitely had a great time! Here are a few pictures of our day…

The flamingos were by far Anna Kate’s favorite. She just sat there staring at them for quite a while! I think she would have stayed longer, but we had to get to the penguin feeding show!
I loved my day at the zoo, but it sure tired me out!

Oh, Anna Kate is so cute. What color are her eyes? We thought we saw a touch of blue! We are so happy that she was able to visit with your Grannie. Give her our love too. Yes, we will be looking forward to getting to meet our Anna Kate one day. Love to all.
