One of the ladies in our church has really had a heart to reach women in our community and she is heading up monthly women’s evenings held in a banquet room at our local hotel. There are 4-5 ladies in our church, myself included, who are putting this together each month. We have had three so far and they have been very well received (40-50 women each time). We have coffee/tea/dessert and then a Christian woman (usually a friend of one of our church members) shares her testimony and what it means to be a Christian woman. Several ladies have asked for prayer afterward, and one even prayed to receive Christ last week. In fact, she and her family (as well as another family) came to our church’s Easter service on Sunday because they heard about our church at the women’s evening. So far I have been helping with behind-the-scenes things like preparing small gifts to give each lady at the end of the evening, setting up tables, and photographing the evening. I have also been trying to welcome the ladies and visit with them as my language abilities allow.

It has been a blessing to participate in these and to see the gospel seeds being spread broadly in our area. Here a few pictures of our evenings!
