Catching our fight to our conference at 6:25AM which meant we left our house at 4AM!

We arrived a few days before our conference and took a train to visit some friends.
Christopher was a champ during the flight and train ride.

Our friends serve in the military and we were able to go on the military base. It was strange to see dollar signs for the first time in several years.
There were even Butterball turkeys for sale on base!
We even found a Starbucks on the base for Patty’s birthday!

Anna Kate had her birthday party at a new “fun zone” at a mall in Rīga.
They enjoyed the rock climbing wall. 
And they also loved racing through the “ninja course”
We finished the party with cake and presents at home.
Eleanor lost a tooth this month!

Luke attended a two-day theology conference at Latvia University.
The BPI Dean presented a paper and was one of the best speakers at the conference.

Children’s Bible Club had to be held in our apartment due to weather.
We have been going through the Jesus Storybook Bible and this week we made burning bushes and talked about Moses.
Christopher’s favorite place to nap is outside – a very Latvian thing to do.
Caroline’s class had a field trip.

Our church received a donation to purchase a new sound system. Luke set everything up to make sure it was ready for our first service.
Someone left the door open to the girl’s room and Christopher discovered a new skill.
After many weeks of no snow, we finally had a dusting one morning.
