  • Christopher knows he has to wear shoes to go to the playground so he put some on!

  • We have a number of neighborhood children join our children’s Bible club on Wednesday mornings.
  • We visited a nearby Lutheran church one Sunday morning since our church met on Wednesday nights in July.
  • We took a week to get away as a family for some vacation. Our first stop – Kuldīga!

  • Anna Kate had a close encounter with a metal pipe on the side of the building but a quick visit to the ER got everything fixed up!

  • There was a huge park and playground just around the corner from our AirBnB apartment
  • We got to eat out a couple of times on our trip
  • Ventspils is on the sea so we spent several morning enjoying the sea and sun!
  • There was also an amusement park and we chose to do the water bumper boats.

  • We came home to some delicious snacks from our friends who watered our plants and looked after our apartment
  • Our view each morning – we loved seeing all of the flowers
  • We didn’t miss a week of Children’s Bible club and we continued to have a good turnout
  • One week we taught about prayer and helped them write down some things they could pray for during the week
  • Hanging out in Rīga was some American friends
  • Anna Kate celebrated her “name day” (and Eastern European tradition) with cookies and lemonade
